Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Beginner - The Individual Page for each Crypto Coin on CoinMarketCap

For this, I will be looking at AAVE and examining the individual pages of the token. AAVE is one of the popular cryptocurrencies and one of my favorite cryptocurrency assets for long term investment.

Overview

Overview section shows the chart, price and statistical information of the selected cryptocurrency. On the chart, we can see the current and past price chart over the timeframes such as 1D, 7D, 1M, 3M, 1Y, YTD, ALL. Each of the different timeframes shows the corresponding chart for that particular timeframe. On the overview and cahrt section, there are 3 tabs which are price, marketcap and tradingview. The price tab shows the price chart of the selected timeframe, the marketcap tab shows the marketcap chart of the selected timeframe, and the tradingview tab shows the tradingview tool for more in-depth technical analysis. The overview section is very useful because it allows traders and investors perform technical analysis on selected cryptocurrency asset so as to make the best trading decisions.

Market

The market section shows a list of all the popular cryptocurrency exchanges that the asset is listed on. Each selected cryptocurrency asset are listed on their different exchanges which makes this section very useful for fundamental analysis. This will help traders and investors to have an insight on the number of top exchanges that the coin have been listed on. This is very useful in making better investment decisions. Coins that are listed on a large number of top exchanges will mostly have a lot of liquidity which can be great for trading.

Historical Data

Historical data section shows all the record of past prices of the selected cryptocurrency asset on a month by month basis. This is a very powerful for technical analysis and fundamental analysis because it helps give traders and investors a general record of all the past prices of the selected cryptocurrency asset, to know the performance in the market. Also, traders and investors can use this data to extract which month has the best performance in the market, and also all-time-high and all-time-low prices so as to determine the growth potential of the cryptocurrency asset.

Holders

The holders section is very useful as it gives the data and overall amount of the selected cryptocurrency unique addresses that hold that particular cryptocurrency assets in the blockchain network. This is very useful when it comes to fundamental analysis. Investors and traders can make use of the data in the holders section to determine the growth potential of a cryptocurrency asset. This helps to make better investment and trading decisions.

Wallets

The wallet section shows the various types of wallets that supports the selected cryptocurrency asset. This is very useful because it gives investors the assurance that they can store their cryptocurrency in a trusted and secure wallet. The types and number of wallets shown depends on the selected cryptocurrency asset.

News

The news section is another very useful section. It basically shows valuable crypto related contents relating to the selected cryptocurrency. This is very useful during analysis as it can help investors and traders know what is happening around the project before making investments or trading decisions. Positive or negative news would greatly influence the investing or trading decisions and the price of the asset, that is why the news section is very useful.

Socials

The socials section is a useful section, as it shows the social activities e.g tweets of the selected cryptocurrency. This is great when it comes to making trading or investing decisions because a positive tweet can drastically influence the price on the upside which can become a good entry signal. For instance, a tweet about a top exchange listing can skyrocket the price of the asset, early entry can lead to more profit.

Ratings

The rating section is also a very useful section because it shows the different ratings by third parties. This ratings shows the fundamental score of the selected cryptocurrency asset. The higher the score, the stronger the cryptocurrency asset. This can also influence investment or trading decisions. The total score is on the scale of 0-1000.

Analysis

The analyses section is very useful section to pay attention to especially when doing fundamental and technical analysis. This section shows different matrices such as Holders Making Money at Current Price, Concentration by Large Holders, Holders' Composition by Time Held, Transactions Greater than $100K, Transaction Demographics. The data in this section can also influence investment or trading decisions. For instance, if the percentage in the concentration by large holders can determine if potential growth of a coin and the immunity to market price manipulation by large holders. This is very important data when doing technical and fundamental analysis.

Price Estimates

The price estimates section is still in beta testing stage. However, the feature allows users to input their price predictions of the selected cryptocurrency asset. Each price prediction is ranked according to the number of people that voted for that price estimate.
