TIANA'S REVENGE
CHAPTER SEVEN
Tiana began to explain her travails to Dr. Sam, which kept him in some kind of amazement. He listened attentively to what she said.
"My life had always been unfair with me" she started. "I'll begin from where it all began; I was just a little girl living happily with my mom and dad with my younger brother. We were so happy, my dad made sure to provide every of I and my brother's need every day; until he lost his job! Mom wasn't working, she was a full time house wife, her job was to take care of I and my brother. So things moved from good to worse." She sighed.
"Did that make you like this?" Dr Sam asked
"No" she said "That was only the beginning of what happened to me" she added
Dr. Sam wondered what could have been so bad that could have made her so repulsive, because from what she had just said, they happen to many people and no one had ever blamed their misfortunes on others, let alone be so aggressive at a particular sex.
"So, what made you so harsh toward people?" He asked rather disgusted than inquisitive
"Hmm, It was just too horrible!" she had tears in her eyes as she continued "My dad died due to a heart attack; after he lost his job, the bank came and seized all of our properties. He was so depressed until he had a heart attack, upon reaching the hospital, he died" She paused a minute, sniffing.
Dr. Sam only stared with more disgust, he didn't understand why that should make her lose her mind. He was about to express his disappointment when she continued.
"My mom remarried and put us in bondage, her new husband hated the sight of us. He always maltreated us and mom never took our side, he always reminded us the favor he was doing us, our feeding, clothing , and all. We bored it all until I was 12 years old, I was just growing into a teenager. My boobs were just like peanuts then, I had no curves that could attract anyone".
Dr. Sam's eyes widened, instead of disgust he was horrified. not because of Tiana but because of the story she was telling. He sat still feeling remorse for the way he had treated Tiana in his mind. "I'm so sorry" he muttered under his breath. His remorse soon turn to anger; he was angry that Tiana's step father had to be so callous as to put his eyes on such a young girl. "What else happened?" he asked so Tiana could continue her story, because she had stopped talking when he muttered some words.
Tiana sniffled as she continued "He would always molest me whenever mom wasn't home; he would ask me which guy I was dating at school? Every time he would say he was trying to know if my virginity was still intact by putting his finger into my v@gina" Tiana couldn't continue as she was now weeping, she cried so hard Dr. Sam got mad. She sat on the bed with both palms covering her face and both her knees supporting them.
Dr. Sam began blaming his instincts for not doing its job well, he was mad that he never suspected what could have happened to Tiana. He then understood what his father had always told him when he was still alive "we humans are so unfair, because we are so selfish; we expect everything to be in our favor. We never try to understand other people until they tell us their problem, only then do we feel sorry and understand them. Why don't we first see all reasons to understand them and get mad when they confess they did otherwise?" His dad always said this because of his attitude back in school, he had always felt his dad never wanted to support his education because he felt his dad was always reluctant to send him financial aid whenever he requested. And now he had done it with an innocent patient of his; he then decided never to assume anything until there were strong evidence to backup his claim.
Tiana was still crying when Dr. Sam stood up to leave in other to let Tiana feel a bit comfortable.
"I'll give you some time to rest, I'm really sorry" He said.
Tiana was still crying when he walked out the room, he walked straight to his office and sat down to think of ways to help Tiana recover. Determination was written all over his face; Dr. Sam was determined to help Tiana get over her trauma, and also put the devil of her step-father behind bars. He picked up his pen and wrote down somethings.
