My habits and me
First of all before writing this contest, I will use this opportunity to thank @ruthjoe for organizing this great contest tag (My habits and me). This contest deals with one behaviour.
Looking at the term habits it refers to behaviour one carry out.
It may be defined as a behaviour a person learnt or establish in one day or been transferred from the parent and it controls the person.
Habits are of good and bad but when it comes to complaining it refers to the negative aspect of it which is the (bad).
- The habit of ‘I will’ (procrastination). This one of the behaviour that I form in one day but may not be knowing to me.
- The habit of sleeping. Mean while may not be people but my family.
My strongest habits that has helped me over the years is.
Not eating outside: not eating outside does not include the aspect of being invited. Not eating outside mean for me that when I eat in the morning and go out, I may not eat again till when I get back home (it maybe in the evening). This behaviour has helped me a lot since 2022 when I started my work, and even if I happen to bring food, I will lack the appetite to eat the food.
Yes habits can be learnt. Just like a person who learned how to drink alcoholic beverages, from one day, another day is added and continually it becomes his habit, that even when he tries to stop it may not be easy for him.
And on the other side, some may come from the parent as a result of birth. My senior sister like drinking garri that many times we share it in my family, she will divide it into two parts and drink one. I then remember when my mom told my siblings and I that when she was pregnant for her she likes drinking garri and maybe that could be the cause of her drinking garri too.

All habits can be stopped if one exercise he's or her willpower to it.
Habits is a choice to chose from and not a will power.
