I think for me it's just a comfortability factor and that I would be received well, in a realm that's mainly all boys....and I KNOW! I was looking around last night and we're so not alone :) To maybe provide a bit more context, i'm a huge gamer, mainly XBox if anyone was curious.. There are lots of games I love to pay, the more aggressive though or the most male oriented I tend to leave my mic off, cause well, it can be pretty horrible sometimes.
