Hello once again guys, I hope your day is going fine because mine is going alot more interesting. This post is quite extensive as i would sharing with us a little gist on the project we're currently in our family house, a construction for the provision of a bore hole on our home. We moved into this area in Isieke Umuahia, Abia State that has a completely different soil nature. The soul is so hard that it's really hard to get water.

It's been quite long my dad had wanted to have his own house with water and we moved into this area 3 years ago. Well he began saving for this project since this new year and since water is hard to come by in this area, the price for actually drilling the ground in search of water is actually really high.

And so last week, He visited the Construction company by name Aqua Finers Water construction Company located in my home town in umuahia. An agreement was as at when to begin work, how much to be paid for the construction and how long it would take to get water from such a hard soil.

Well it's today and the Engineer and his boys are here with their equipments. As they came they were paid the whole fee they had charged for the project, a total of 2 million Naira in cash (approximately 10,500 steem) and they began setting up their machineries to be used for the operation.

According to them, the project would take up to two weeks before it the clean water would begin to come out and they would be digging between 60 to 80 metres deep, this might take a while if you ask me.

Some Equipments Used For this construction.

I'm happy to also let you guys know that there is huge progress made today. There were some equipments which I know they used and these equipments helped them to successfully carry out some operations today. Some of them and their functions include:

-Generators

No doubting that most construction work involves the use of gigantic machines. These machines need some sort of energy that would be converted to mechanical energy to propel then to work, some sort of generator. I'm this case two average size generators with two separate complete parts had their energies combined to power the energy needed for this operation. They can also be called Mud Pumps.

- Drilling Rigs

These are the main devils used for this operation. The function to drill through the soil, earth or rock surfaces. Although they might be in different sizes out shapes they still function to carry out the function of drilling. I'm this case the one used for this operation is made up of heavy steel of length 50 to 70 metres with a sharp pointed edge which is made so for it's drilling function.

- Truck Mounted Rigs

These are machines that allows for the moment of these heavy rigs. Since the weight of the right are made to be so m much little energy applied to it does the drilling makes these machines unliftable not to talk of moving it around. These truck mounted rigs are designed to both be it's medium of transportation and it's medium of operation while doing the construction.

- Jointed pipes

They are simply modified puppies that are jointed end to end and are involved in the passage of water clean water. This hasn't been out to use yet since we haven't been able to pass the impervious rock after which the clean water that the earth has in store would be coming out.

- Air Compressors

These are pipes that acts to compress the air from the generators out into the mud water.

So far so good, the construction of a progress as they have already dug the ground open where all the water coming out would be flowing into, It's a 7 feet deep. Also the drilling has already begun as shown in the picture and in no time, clean water would begin gushing out.

Although it's the first time we're working with this company, I can tell from the rate at which they're working that they're quite a hard working and committed fellow.

I just hope that this construction would take sooner than two weeks, I can't wait to start having water in the house because I really means bathing in the shower. Also the fact that we always go out like 150 to 200 metres to fetch drinking water is really tiring and stressful.
