Snow skiing or Dapps testing ?

in #projecthope6 years ago

Last week, the weather was rather bleak and I did not go snow skiing which is much better that Dapps testing.
So I did some dApps testing:)

Some months ago, I started to create a chrisaikieos account for EOS. But this account as not been activated so far ; I had to buy some EOS. EOS require someone to stake some EOS to buy the CPU and NET you need to use your ccount.

I downloaded Scatter to interact with the EOS blockchain. And input my EOS Key there.

I started to buy some open.EOS on Bitshares, unfortunatly, the withdrawal service provider is not working there !

So I send some BTS to Binance where I bought some BTC (not a good business!) then 19 EOS.
I paid 1 EOS to makeaccounts to validate my chrisaikieos account.

It was not possible to send the 18 EOS left from Binance to my EOS account, I don’t understand why, maybe due to the ongoing EIDOS/EOS war. I did not got any answer from Binance.

I linked my chrisaikieos account with Everipedia, a great Dapps, a fork of wikipedia where post writters are paid in EOS (I guess).

I tried HireVibes, a Dapps where your are paid to refer a job.
You are welcome to support my Steem Proposal to post job offers on Steem too.

I tried to register with Nebula, a rewarded micro blogging platform where I want to promote my Steem at 2$ by 2020 campain but without success.

I got some trouble with my windows 10 firewall that did not appreciate Scatter or another one of my Dapps attempt :(

I installed Whaleex on my tablet to buy some YAS, because I was sure that the token rise up but Whaleex is not configured for French member registration. Another failure with an EOS Dapps.

At least, the sun shined and it was time for a little Dapps break :

This morning I installed Steempeak on my tablet and it really looks great.

Conclusion :

Many Dapps on EOS still look in profond infancy and I did not got any EOS in my chrisaikieos account, after one week of tries !!! very frustrating.

The Steem blockchain works perfectly well with many new Dapps to test and appreciate. Specilly the Stempeak tribes !

This is conforting my feeling than Steem is really undervalued compare to EOS, today. Of course EOS will allow contracts, but who really need a contract on the blockchain ?
