Pine forests
The picture contained in this post is a pine forest that is in the fields of the people of Aceh, pine forest is an example of taiga ecosystem, which has a needle leaf. Most of the pine forest in Indonesia under the foot of Burangrang mountain, which is in West Bandung regency is a relic of the Dutch era, where the colonists planted the tree so that conditions at the foot of the mountain Burangrang similar to the place of origin. Considering that in the Netherlands is a temperate country, where in the temperate regions we will see pine forests a lot, because it is the original place where many taiga ecosystems are found. This situation is a water catchment area. Geographically, pine trees are actually not suitable for planting in water catchment areas, this is because pine forests have needle leaves that have a lot of stomata, so they will absorb and evaporate water into the air and its surroundings.
