DID YOU KNOW THE BENEFITS OF PAPAYA aka PAWPAW TO THE HUMAN BODY?
Papaya also knowns as pawpaw is a fruit found often in the tropical regions. It exterior is often yellowish-orange in colour when ripe with juicy and fleshy insides. They are noted for their various benefits to the human body which would be explained in the paragraphs below.
Papayas are very nutritious to the body. They are similar to pears and can grow to be as big as 20 inches long . It's fleshy insides can vary in colour from shades of yellow to red and continue nutrients such as carbohydrates, protein, vitamin C, vitamin E, Vitamin B9, potassium, and traces of calcium, magnesium, vitamin B1, B3, B5 and K which work collectively for the healthy growth and development of the body.
Papayas improve digestive health .The papaya fruit contains digestive enzymes which were used by people in tropical areas to treat constipation and other symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome. Its leaves, roots and stems have been shown to treat ulcers in both humans and animals also.
Papayas detoxify the body. During the metabolism of the body, there is the production of free radicals which are reactive molecules and their presence can increase the chance of oxidative stress which can cause death. However, papayas contain antioxidants that can neutralize these radicals to avoid harm to the human body.
These are just few of the benefits of the pawpaw plant and I would therefore encourage people to eat fruits such as these because they would definitely improve their quality of life and make them live longer.
I will now eat pawpaw everyday.
