The Lord Jehovah desires that we shall be perfect before Him in words, thoughts, and deeds. But we need the Holy Spirit to guide us to the right path.

On our own weakness and infallibility, it is impossible for us to be perfect without the help of the Spirit of God. Our own spirit may be willing, but our flesh is definitely weak in all aspects. We need the Holy Spirit to strengthen both the body and soul.

Ask for the guidance of the Holy Spirit now and for each and every day. This is the only power we need to be perfect in Christ.

"But I say, walk and live [habitually] in the [Holy] Spirit [responsive to and controlled and guided by the Spirit]; then you will certainly not gratify the cravings and desires of the flesh (of human nature without God)."
