ULOG: 09 "Allegedly Blong Brake, the Semarang Fire Fighting Car Overturned, 1 Killed"

A single accident was experienced by the car of the Semarang City Fire Department on the derivative road of Prof. Hamka, Ngaliyan, Semarang, Sunday (08/26/2018) early this morning. As a result of this incident, a firefighter was killed after being crushed by a truck body. While other officers suffered injuries.
The dead victim was known as Kamal, a Semarang City Fire Department officer who served in Tugu Post, Semarang. Kamal died instantly after his body was stuck in a truck body.
Joint officers attempted to evacuate by removing the victim's body from the truck body. After being successfully evacuated, the victim was then taken to the morgue of Kariyadi Hospital in Semarang.
According to one resident at the location, Adi Hermawan, the accident occurred around 1:00 a.m. this morning. The fire truck with police number H 9591 PS containing eight personnel is planned to carry out the eradication of beehives in the Mijen Area, Semarang City. But because conditions were not possible, all eight personnel returned to the Tugu Guard Post.
However, when crossing the Prof Hamka Road derivative precisely in front of Permata Medika Hospital, the fire truck driven by Agung Surono was shaken and rolled over. "I was hanging out with friends. Then suddenly I saw the car from above was shaken up. Up here, it immediately toppled, "Adi said, Sunday (08/26/2018).
Meanwhile, Ilham, another resident said, the truck was suspected of having had a brake before being rolled over. "So the truck wants to go to Tugu Post. Until the brakes are empty. Then when it comes to the derivative, the car is shaken and immediately reverses here, "he said.
A number of wounded officers were rushed to the Permata Medika Hospital in Semarang, while the dead were taken to the Kariyadi Doctor's morgue.
To find out the exact cause of the accident, until now a single accident case involving the Semarang City Fire Department's car was still in the handling of the Semarang Polrestabes Traffic Unit.
