I am not an expert in web 2.0 but has a very some experience. And base on that years of experience I can share my opinion and recommendation on a question "What should I post about on steemit?"

I recommend basing your post on the expertise that underlies your on your personal life. Real-life examples from personal experience make much better reading than theory and conjecture. Current news and trends are also a good subject matter. For a steemit post, don't forget that you can draw on the combined expertise from the community to find a topics, too.

As with any writing exercise, you need to find something to say that's unique. Specialized information, industry insight, a contrarian perspective, or vision into trends or issue. All of these approaches are proven winners for a post content.

Five key techniques to rely on are;

Solve problems.

If your post can offer solutions to problems that your audience commonly faces, you will soon have a loyal audience. Solving their problems with your post can gain votes and resteem from them.

Encourage interaction.

You may find success by simply "broadcasting" one way on your post, but the steemit community revolution is interactive, remember? You'll attract more upvotes and resteem, both in quantity and in loyalty, by socializing and allowing yourself to do them a favor by upvoting, commenting, and resteeming their post too. It's a give and take, like in the real world.

Be provocative.

A great way to get steemian's attention is to surprise them. Challenge readers with controversy or discussion-provoking posts. This can help you develop a reputation from your post that engages readers and convert them into a loyal followers.

Don't waste anyone's time.

Don't waste your time or give readers a poor impression of your post's value buy posting a "filler" content. Although it can feel like you are just talking to yourself when you are writing a post, you need to remember that the point it get others to read it. This means putting your best foot forward at all times by providing nuggets that are of value to your readers. My rule of thumb for this when writing is to post only those pieces that I am sure would interest a respected friends or colleague.

Share the load.

Not everything on you post has tp be written by you. Lean on the community for post article, resteem other post that interest you or collect a link from steemit post. In fact, even a simple collections of links to other steemians can be a valuable to readers if they offer carefully selected, look at @jerrybanfield post.

In fact, @jerrybanfield is my inspiration writing this post. I am following and read all his post everyday. He is a real Wizard!

There is a ton of things to post. Researched topics, things never heard of. It is about reshaping the internet. The is what #til or today i learned is for. To drive people to learn something new each day and teach it. You can always use resources from the internet but write in your own perspective. That way you grow in person. And carve your path. Many blogs you see may be triggered by bigger things than just "create content".
