5 perfect movies for summer nights
i've been really busy lately but the vacations are finally here so i hope to be more active , and here are some of my favorite movies that i recommend you to watch ( you will not be disappointed..promise)
A BIGGER SPLASH
A Minimalistic Drama movie loosely based on the 1969 Jacques Deray film "La piscine",with Tilda Swinton, Matthias Schoenaerts, Ralph Fiennes and Dakota Johnson. A rock star and her filmmaker partner's idyllic holiday which was interrupted by an ex-lover and his daughter.
SAVAGES
Laguna Beach entrepreneurs Ben(Aaron Taylor-johnson), a peaceful and charitable Buddhist, and his closest friend Chon(Taylor kitsch), a former Navy Seal and ex-mercenary, run a lucrative, homegrown industry raising some of the best marijuana ever developed. They also share a one of a kind love with the extraordinary beauty Ophelia(Blake Lively). Life is idyllic in their Southern California town...until the Mexican Baja Cartel decides to move in and demands that the trio partners with them.
CE QUE LE JOUR DOIT A LA NUIT
A French romantic drama movie based on the novel of the same name by Yasmina khadhra The film looks over the life of a young man, Younes, from his childhood in Algeria in the 1930s to nowadays. The story goes over the tragedies that occurred in his country but also the love story of Emilie and Younes.
And While We Were Here
Set in the lush hills and cobbled streets of the Amalfi Coast, Jane (Kate Bosworth) is searching for something more from her life. She loves her husband but the silence between them is growing. Her work, writing her grandmother's memoir (voiced by Claire Bloom) immerses her in the quiet beauty of the town, its islands... and finally, in the romantic embrace of a younger man. Jane must decide where her passions will take her, and who she really want to be, as she documents the discoveries of "And While We Were Here.".
MUD
Ellis and Neckbone, 14, discover during a daily getaway, a man on an island refugee in the middle of the Mississippi. It's Mud(matthew macgonogay): a tattooed snake on his arm, a gun and a lucky shirt. Mud puts the two teenagers in contribution to repair a boat which will allow him to leave the island, but things get complicated with the revelation of Mud's secrets.
