Day 13 – What to do when others don’t share your vision

in #crypto7 years ago

Roadblocks come in all shapes in sizes. When they are located in your own house then you have a constant reminder of all the things that are not going well with your project. Perhaps some leeway can be given for those who just are not disruptive enough to understand the crypto space, but sometimes you must tell them to shut up and close the door.

While working on my crypto project, I have had to do a lot of explaining. Some people are very respective even if they don’t quite get it but others are spewing garbage which disrupts all those positive vibes in my private head space. Another cup of coffee is not the answer either.
I may have to find a different location all together to make this thing work and that is twisting my brain. For the next few days, I must put together as much content as possible and get the project opened to the first layer of membership access.

The end of the year is coming and many things have already been finished. This is good. In order to push hard, each remaining item is being prioritized and I am forcing myself into attack mode. It is not the way I wanted the project to come about but I feel I have no choice.

Lesson 13: Not everyone wants to come along for the ride.

  1. Found a technical bug in the Membership Services platform which I reported to the creators
  2. Finished the User Guides
  3. Deleted all the filler posts, comments and testing pages
  4. Reviewed multiple Beginner level resources to create a user friendly Cheat Sheet
  5. Took a lot of deep breaths

If others are not letting you be who you want to be, then don’t try to change them or lose energy trying to fight those battles. Focus on what you are creating. Keep your energy close to your heart. Believe in your truth no matter what.
