Sheepshead
As I have said before, you never really know what you are going to catch when you are saltwater fishing, and that is half of the excitement!
During this fishing trip, we went by the Sunshine Skyway Bridge to fish the pylons. This is one of the biggest bridges that I have ever seen, and some people I know are even afraid to drive over it.
The fishing underneath is spectacular. There are huge grouper and tons of other species swimming down by the pylons.
The sheepshead are also quite abundant a little further up, in terms of the water depth. Catching them can be really fun and you can see them running with your bait. Some people even shoot them with bow and arrows, but I prefer to pull them in on a rod and reel.
Check out this nice sheepshead that I caught:
Fishing the bridge is a lot of fun, and I can't wait to do it again! Hopefully next time I will pull up a monster grouper, and I will try to get some pics!
Stay High,
I've only caught one of those. Their teeth are crazy
