Hey guys, lots have happened here on Steem (and the whole blockchain/crypto industry in general) in the past couple of weeks. One of the happenings that we're most excited about is the long-awaited launch of the Steem Communities!

We've first heard about Communities back in Steemfest4, which got us excited about all the ways we can better aggregate and curate posts from members who wants to share about CoinGecko related manner. Now that it's live, we'll be trying them out bit by bit.
Currently, the only few community space that we are actively managing right now are our Telegram Group (8600+ members) and Discord Server (4600+ members). We hope to soon call Steem our third official bastion for community discussions and content sharing as more Steemians subscribe and post on it.
We don't have a solid roadmap yet for what we're going to do with the CoinGecko Community, as such we welcome your ideas and feedback, feel free to post your suggestions as posts on the Community.
As a Steem Witness, we welcome the changes on the ecosystem and excitement that's been brought on by recent events. Rest assured that we're not going anywhere and will still be around on the Steem Blockchain.

Great to have you here. Btw you need to fix Hex circulating supply on your website. It lists 3 billion. While it's 73 billion.

I have joined this community. Since I was active in the world of cryptocurrency, I had difficulty using Coingecko as one of the sources of fast and accurate information. The community will strengthen the benefits of coingecko.

I am happy to see you guys finally about to start running a community.
Going by the real meaning of that word community, it's simply a union of people that assist one another to Grow and develop.i would suggest you begin with incentives that will attract and make people much interested in it. Maybe like contest with enticing offers.
Contest and offers increase engagement in a community. You will also need a set of devoted members or officials that will help manage and scout for deserving authors whose works are under appreciated.
There will be need to pay very close attention to the newbies who are still finding their route through the steemit community. There should be a feedback channel that will be able to answer and sort out challenges the young community members might be having.
The growth of a community lies on the its members generaly.There will be need to spread your tentacles to allow members who probably might not be knowledgeable enough for now to thrive. A contest with very good and attractive offer will likely attract more members.
Community grows together when in unity, peace, love and understanding.
