Curation is curation. Trending is trending. Trending is not an advertising board. It is the ability to find the absolute best.

This is a post in relation to this reply, . Time for you to read.

I am very happy that the trash control has made such an impact and made awareness to the situation which Trending has become. I'm very glad that people such as @toresto is being so vocal for now I have a grasp of what people think because it allows to make new opinions of how to tighten the screws more.

When you develop the thought that trending is an advertising ground, you forfeit the ability to debate anything about Steem. It is a selfish thought as you use this thought to leverage your own means to get people to see your content. It is disgusting.

To say that because I didn't look at your content, constitutes that I am wrong, is woefully broken. There is no argument to be had as you've made the selfish claim that by using a bid bot, that you DESERVE to be on trending. Let me explain what Trending is there for. It is there for the public consensus to decide as a blockchain, what is the best content and why is it. You have robbed that chance by making this selfish act and whilst your intention might be pure, how you have went about it, is not. You have robbed the chance for someone that makes amazing content but has no means of advertising, to be left out in the cold, defeating the purpose of Steem. You are effectively making Steem less useful because it's being gamed and you're part of it. Congratulations. But I'm the bad guy here according to your logic.

Steem is here to help elevate content creators to become the absolute best and for Steem to be the hub for all things exciting and important content to consume. The public decides on that as this therefore gives a strong indication of what the diverse community wants. Not you. You don't decide if your own content is good enough. You have a biased and skewed opinion and therefore claiming that your content is good enough, doesn't cut it. You rob the public of that chance to vote.

To now quote some of your messages and how broken this argument is, let's give it a shot.

did you ever look if ever was on trending page before? never!!

So you admit your content was never good enough to hit trending because other people are using bid bots or your content never garnered the attention of the whales. So you decided to make the problem worse? Good idea mate.

did you think my post did not deserve to be on trending page?

Maybe you should ask the community that because if it was meant to be on trending, well it should be but it would seem like it never did according to you. So given this logic, this means your content was not ready and therefore it would seem you must improve on the ability to create content. This is your logic so to disagree on this comment, would mean you renegading from your question. It's a win-win for me this one, it's 10 points to me I think.

no way, no because you didn't even bother to see what you flagging

This question is voided mute because Trending is there to find the best content and without public concensus and this manipulation of voting, I now can't value this content correctly and so can't the community, therefore the flagging is justified. I mean your selfish acts has simply been neutralised by me. You should be thanking me. I'm saving you from yourself.

so you create something for steemit community

It would seem like you don't understand how this works. This bot does not work only on Steemit but for the blockchain. See Steemit is application which leverages of the Steem Blockchain. This bot looks at all trending within Steem and therefore Steemit posts which are artifically manipulated by these means are flagged. This is why on eSteem and Busy, you'll see the same flags. Interesting you're trying to educate me when I'm having to educate you now. Fascinating.

Now you talk about hardwork by the community and more but guess what, lots of people do hard work for charity and they don't ask for anything. You deserve nothing just because you did work. I can do work for any body but I deserve nothing. When you make great content, it still might not be good enough. You have to make absolutely amazing content to garner the interest of people. To say that you did hardwork, doesn't cut it.

I'm not downvoting your content because of it's work. I'm downvoting YOU. YOU decided to artifically upvote your content, therefore robbing us the chance to evaluate your content. YOU decided was already good enough and therefore took manipualtive tactics to better your chances whenever that's not the point of Trending. YOU damage the chances of other people making it with real content and if YOU thought your content was that good, you didn't even think of just putting it to hot and letting people maybe have an easier time seeing it. No you paid for it to make sure everyone seen it and therefore your arguments about hardwork is voided because that hardwork is overshadowed by what you did.

We deserve nothing and I can put 100's of hours into video editing but that means nothing if the end result isn't good. I certainly will not be manipulating the system to my favour. I will let us all decide upon it. How dare you question me. Look at yourself first.

And by the way, I find hilarious you're accusing me of making this when it was @heimindanger and just to say, he's given the opportunity for people to make it with http://d.tube which is a video platform for Steem. The content of great video producers can't be powered up enough because people like YOU stop them from being seen. How about you look at yourself first.

Btw hurting minnows? Sorry but um if you actually look at the clean-trending section, you can clearly see that in cases, 95% of rewards can be from a bot and the post getting 700SBD, that's 665SBD. Mate let's stop kidding around. You're robbing the chance for small people to make their content seen.

More whales will come to the clean-trending for those that understand what trending is for. With your logic, Steem is fucked. I'm so happy you're not involved with the Steem Inc team.
