I think loads of people are on curation trails and autovoting. I check out some peoples Steemd from time to time and see they are voting like 5 posts a minute or more so they obviously arent reading them. With all the new accounts people just go on an upvoting spree until they learn how it all works.
I dont get many upvotes in the first place and usually the same people 😅 so havent noticed much of a difference...
A social media platform that has more bots than real users won't last very long.
That's what I also thought as of the moment I started. But we could be wrong. If you see Steem as a crypto currency and Steemit just as a little social media addition, then Steem will most likely go along with the crypto markets.

Yeah there are more bots on here than is healthy for a 'social' media platform
Yeah it shows when they vote at the same time for each post or follow the same ppl's votes ;)
