Step by Step Drawing of Lord Ganesha

Hello Friends,

Hope you all are doing fine amid ever increasing Corona cases across the globe.

India is going thru one of the toughest phases with the cases getting increased every day and only God knows when this pandemic ends.

Ah, having said about the God, here is a drawing of Lord Ganesha, regarded as the God of beginnings and also as the remover of obstacles, the patron of arts and sciences and the deva of intellect and wisdom as per Hindu Mythology.

Since he is regarded as the God of Beginnings, it's a customary that the first worship is given to Lord Ganesha before we carry out anything whether it's starting something new or celebrating any occasion.

The first step as you can see below, is to draw the face of Lord Ganesha.

There is a great story behind why Lord Ganesha has the face of an elephant.

When, Lord Ganesha was be-headed by his own father Lord Shiva without recognizing him, his mother asks his father to bring back life and it is said that Lord Shiva replaces Lord Ganesha's head with that of an elephant.

In late August or early September every year, Ganesha Chaturthi is celebrated which can be between day to 10 days or even for months in some places where in, the murthi (idols) of Lord Ganesha will be prepared with beautiful coloring and lighting arrangements and every day different food items which are known to be Lord Ganesha's favorites will be prepared and offered to the God.

We can see the elephant face here in below drawing with those big years as elephants have.

Lord Ganesha's favorite food items include laddoos, modak, soaked chana etc..

We can see the drawing of a Tabala, a music instrument being used by Lord Ganesha in this screenshot.

The final one with some bordering and the ornamental part on the forehead of Ganesha and those eyes of elephant.
