Eating Healthy on a Budget You Can Do It!!!
Coriolanus here just sharing some helpful tips to making a delicious treat for under a dollar! Eating healthy doesn't have to taste disgusting, and it definitely does not need to break the bank. However even if you can figure out how to get the above done, where do you find the time. Well I am here to show you how I get it done in under 10 minutes. Start by turn getting out desired ingredients. For spices I like to keep it simple salt and pepper as I like to be able to taste the individual ingredients.
Follow up with toasting the bread.
Prepare the pan by melting in some butter, no need to use fake stuff (this here is high class cooking).
Toss in 2 eggs cook and season to preference
Open up that succulent Avocado
Mash 1/2 Avocado on each piece of toast.
Top with egg and done.
I will say that making it here in Red Deer is pretty cheap, I managed to pick up a dozen eggs for $2.00 a 6 Pack of Avocados for $2.50, a teaspoon of butter is negligible and a loaf of bread for 0.89 cents with 12 pieces of bread.
Once all is put together 0.42/Avocado 0.34/2 eggs 0.15/2 pieces of toast comes to 0.91 before tax.
I challenge you to make this one day this week, see if you can beat my time.
Comment below if you liked my simple morning snack, also comment if you would like me to make something else on a budget.
I need an exact time so I can try to make it faster than you.
It took exactly 9 minutes and 57 seconds, the hard part for you is eating something so Green :)
My wife likes green shit
Your wife is pretty darn cool!
Looks wonderful, but I would hardly call it "eating on a budget." Apart from the bread and eggs, the other ingredients are way out of my budget. Real butter? Avocado? You got any idea what those cost around here? :-)

Might take a bit more work since I don't live there and I would have to do all price checking online. But thanks for the comment, i probably should have put the prices in my article cheer :)
I live in South Africa, and what with different local conditions and exchange rate it's probably pretty difficult to make any kind of comparison. But I'm a starving artist, so even with cheap food I have to budget pretty carefully. :-)
