Splinterlands | July Results & Earnings Report
July 1st Collection Value
I started the month of July with a total card collection value of 956$ (733$ Main account | 223$ Alt Account). My collection is by no means optimized and I could reach similar results with a much smaller card collection. I do continue to hold on to all my cards building my collection which for the first time got me into the Top Champions League 1 on my main Account while reaching Champions 2 with my 2nd account.
I continue to keep track of my earnings day by day just for completing the daily quests which on average takes 25-30 minutes both accounts combined. Since I'm holding on to all my DEC (See Reasons Why DEC Price Will go Up +33%) I calculated everything at the current price DEC is traded at (~0.000567$ for 1 DEC)
The combination of cards being cheap this month (See Reasons I'm Buying More Cards & DEC and getting less lucky on the rewards made it so that there was quite a reduction in value from them compared to June where this all added up to 66.36$ vs 41.735$ in July. The key remains consistently completing the daily quests each day letting everything add up over time.
July Reward Cards
The current value of all reward cards I got from the Loot Chests adds up to 20.264$
July Untamed Pack Card Rewards
I managed to get 13 untamed packs during the month.
July DEC Earnings
The value of Dark Energy Crystals is slowly going up again now at 0.57$ vs 0.43$ last month for 1000 DEC and I totally expect this trend to continue toward the 0.70$-0.75$

I played less hours in total last month leaving quite some of my Capture Rate unused at 100% which clearly shows in the overall DEC earned. 37424 DEC (21.33$) vs 46132 DEC last month.

July Affiliate Earnings
I am still leasing a lot of cards in a win-win deal to everyone that signs up using my referral link helping them give a big boost getting started in the game making it the best possible way to get started. (See Full August Deal). I also continue to reinvest the affiliate earnings into more cards which allows me to improve what I'm able to offer. I had 7 new sign-ups last month who took me up on the deal and I continue toward my goal to onboard 100 players in total. The affiliate earnings for July added up to 34.117$ I didn't fully kept track of the cards I bought this month as I also used some of STEEM to buy more cards so I'm sticking to the Credits value this months for tracking.
Affiliate Promotion Cards
The Splinterlands team has been running a promotion where everyone who signs up using a referral link will receive 1 random card from the @sl-giveaways account when they buy the 10$ summoner's spellbook. The account from which the referral link was used also receives 1 random card. This added 7 cards to my collection which have a combined value of 0.391$

July Splinterlands Blogging Earnings
I actually missed 1 Share your battle Challenge last month because I fell sick and didn't have the energy to make the post. Splinterlands is now also fully powered down on Steem and the overall earnings from blogging continue to go down as the upvotes are being spread between more and more players who started blogging and joining the weekly challenge. Blogging earnings from 7 posts added up to 21.82$
July Monstermarket Cashback / Gifts
Buying cards from the market on Monstermarket.io gives 3% cashback instantly paid out in DEC. Since I hit the market buying quite some of the cheap cards, this added up to 3663.558 DEC (2.09$)
I also got a gift of 5 Untamed Packs as a reply to my Onboarding 100 players post from from @carrieallen ! Thanks again, this is what came out of these packs which I opened using both Alchemy and Legendary Potions I had saved.

Important: Treat games in the first place as games and not as investment opportunities, Splinterlands allows you to earn some money and get good returns but you are generally much better off flipping burgers in Mcdonalds when looking at the money earned for the time invested.
