Yeah, starting to get light out, Rutger has been crowing for almost two hours, and won't stop for the foreseeable future. ;-)

Interesting, we had a really foggy morning a couple of days ago, but I didn't take any photos, and for some reason my good "foggy weather" photos are eluding me at the moment.

The photo I've chosen was taken on a morning when the fog had already lifted somewhat, taken roughly half a mile north of me on the same side of the street, with the mist obscuring the hillsides beyond.

I've always liked that barn, and have taken lots of photos of it, and their cattle, over the years.

I'm still keeping up my daily haiku post following my thoroughly enjoyable time with @brokemancode's 30 Day Haiku Challenge, which I'm now posting under #dailyhaiku.

I heartily welcome all poets and poetry lovers to take part: it's a great way to get into the habit of posting every day, and you might surprise yourself with some of the things you come up with, and the insights you may gain in doing so.
