Achievement 2 : @crowan - Basic Security on Steem

Hi friends,

today May we all in good health Wala fiat always and can carry out activities as usual.

In accordance with the direction of @crptokannon,yesterday on August 13, I have completed Achievement 1 entitled Achievement 1 By @crowan my introduction, then on this day on August 14, I will continue my next job which is Achievement2 which relates to the security key of Steemit account. The discussion in this post concerns the use of a Steemit account security key that corresponds to its respective functions.

Question 1

Have you got all your keys in steemit?

• When I first registered on the Steemit Platform, I was asked to enter my username, followed by entering my email followed by the verification number sent to the email I used when registering, after that I entered my cellphone number and I entered it after that's the verification code that Steemit sent to my cellphone. After I finished filling all the data, I immediately pressed the register button, after the registration was processed, then I received the password along with all other security keys in PDF format and I also recorded it in my other notes.
  Inside the PDF file there are 4 security keys that are very private and consist of:

Private Posting Key
Private Memo Key
Private Active Key
Private Owner Key
Master Password

Question 2

Do you know each of these main functions and limitations?
Unlike other Social Media Platforms, Steemit has 4 important security keys with different functions. Here's the explanation:

Private Posting Key

• Private Post Key can be used for daily login to our Steemit account through https://steemit.com. We can basically use this Private Posting Key to write posts, comment, provide upvotes and to check notifications.

Private Memo Key

• Basically, this key is to encrypt and decrypt private messages that we send via steemit platform. So, this is another important key for specific times.

Private Active Key

• Private Active Key is a very sensitive key that we use for transferring our tokens to another steemit account or another exchange. Mainly we use this key for our steemit wallet.

Private Owner Key

• This is an important key for our steemit account. Because, Private Owner Key can be used to reset all passwords and recover our account. So, if we lost our Private Owner key, someone can change all the login details of our account.

Master Password

• Actually, master password can be used to generate new passwords and generate new pdf documents. And also, we should be placed in a very safe place. Because, this is the main password of steemit platform.

Question 3

How do you plan to store your master key password?

• I will keep all the security keys that I can in the most convenient way possible, so that no one else knows but me personally. Maybe I will also tell it to my wife, so that if there is something wrong with me she can continue it. I will save all the security keys in PDF format in my locked data folder. Especially for the Owner Key, I also recorded it in my personal notebook.

Question 4

Do you know how to transfer your STEEM to another steemit user account?

• If any of your friends ask, How do you send STEEM to other Steemit friends?
  Well, for those of you who are curious about how to transfer or send STEEM to other Steemit users, you can follow the steps that we will describe below:

You first click your profile photo

After that you open the wallet

After you open the wallet, a display will appear as shown in the image below. And you click on your Steem amount, or on the place marked with the red column in the image below.

Next you select "Transfer"

After you click Transfer, several forms will appear that you must fill in. For the "From" column, the name of your Steemit account will be filled automatically, In the "To" column you enter the name of the account that you will transfer the STEEM to, in the "Amount" column you fill in the amount of STEEM you will send, while in the "Memo" column "You can fill in the Memo Key that you got at the beginning of the Steemit account registration.

Question 5

Do you know how to Power up/down your STEEM?

• If any of you want to know how to Power Up or Power Down your STEEM, don't be afraid, because here I @crowan will explain how to do it for you in as much detail as possible.
  Please refer to the following steps for how to Power up your STEEM:

You open your "wallet" first. For those who don't know, see the image below.

After your "Wallet" is open, please press the small arrow right in front of your STEEM amount and you select the "Power Up" menu. Please look at the image below to make it clearer.

If you have selected "Power up", a display will appear as shown below. Please fill in the "Amount" column with the amount of STEEM you want to power up.

After the 3rd step, you will be asked to enter your Active key code. If you have entered it, please click next and the Power up stage is complete.
If the way to power up STEEM is like that, then how about Power down STEEM. Want to know how?, Let's see the steps below:

Your first step is also to open the "Wallet" menu on your Steemit.

If you have, you just click the small arrow in front of your STEEM POWER amount. Look at the picture so you can easily understand it.

After you click Power down, a form will appear as shown below. In the "Amount" column, you can fill in the amount of STEEM you want to power down.

Now, if you have filled in the amount, you just click "next", then you will be asked to log back in by entering your username and also your Active key code. If you have directly signed in, and your STEEEM Power down step is complete.

this is a little of my knowledge about Basic Security on Steem that I can write down.
