Oh, Mummy!*

The harvest I reap now is the right harvest for me,
It's a hardcopy of the soft copies of advice you always gave,
Mummy, I have been entangled in those same regrets,
The ones whose stories you always shared at bedtime.

Mummy, tell say me well to Junior and my friends,
Tell them how I'm fairing, how ugly I have been beautified,
Tell Junior to desist from taking that plan B as we agreed,
The deaf ear always finally goes down with the head to Sheol.

I just remember the day we played cards at sunset,
The only time I got the victory over you and Junior too,
I remember how you reminded me never to violate rules,
That obedience makes us the wisest of the wise and fools.

Mummy, I squeezed my rough way into the post office today,
To ensure I sent one of the strokes of my backlash to you,
This one letter was typed with the blood of my little finger,
It has been shedding tears ever since it was uncapped badly.

Oh, Mummy!
