Can One Idea Change The World... Decentralize Everything...?

How did we as a society allow our world to become what it has? Can we fix it the way crypto is a solution to fiat currency and big banks?
Are monks truly happier striving to disassociate with all physical things in this realm?
These are the questions I'm being asked by my wife... the more and more I think about what she says the more I begin to think... how DO we make this world better?
Is it out of our hands because of the powers that be? Is one persons issue with the world to small of an issue to make a change?
I think not, I think much like bitcoin has changed the world and SteemIt is changing the social media world, every other aspect of our life can be changed the same.
Our food and water systems have been poisoned. Our land being taken over by government entities, Our hospitals ran by big pharma. Gas & Electricity monopolized and reliant on fossil fuels. Our media is now run by our governments, feeding us the version of history they want us to believe.
All of this can be changed if people work together.
All it takes is one person to begin a project and share their journey for it to spread like a wild fire.
For those that live in the USA, look at what happened with the DAPL. The people living near that land stood no chance, but the story got on to social media, went viral, and help from all over the country arrived to back them.
It's simple psychology, most people want to be led... but we need new leaders and innovators to shake up the world and bring about the change we need as a society to prosper.
Decentralization is the key... Decentralize everything. All it takes is one person with an idea and the will to implement it. If the idea is good, people will back it and change will begin to come. We need to do this I believe in all major sectors.
Bitcoin has opened the Idea and possibilities to come from decentralization to people who never would have thought this type of technology could work or be successful.
EOS is a prime example of this happening.
Will we live to see the person(s) that does this for the world? The person able to spark the worlds interest in a system that could provide clean water to everyone, a system to provide cost efficient solar power, electric/solar planes, boats, trains, & cars to rid of the reliance on fossil fuel for road transportation? The use of hemp to end the massive deforestation of the small amount of natural landscape we have left? Natural and holistic medicines rather than poisons concocted by scientists in a lab that lead us into addiction and death?
There are so many other things that a decentralized system could work for in our real world... but who is going to be the change in the world that we want to see?
