Kickstarter Cards Are Out!
Hey guys! After recently checking the price of the kickstarter cards, I'm shook to say the least! The prices are so high and yet no one is selling and people are actually buying! Shin Los are now at $300 USD each, when it was originally only $40 from the Kickstarter. However, the gold royal dragon archer is actually rarer in terms of total quantity available than the Shin Lo, but the price is less than half of our legendary friend. Of course rarity isn't all, but I feel like the price of these cards, especially the dragon commons, rares and epics are about to go up even more, simply following the laws of supply and demand. No one is willing to sell whilst more people want to buy. Furthermore, since humans aren't rational, I suspect to see as prices rise FOMO to kick in and raise the prices even more!
Comparison between kickstarter and alpha cards
Both are limited edition gold rares, both have similar supply yet one card is about 4 times more expensive than the other and is actually getting some volume. This leads me to believe that the current alpha set is extremely undervalued or these kickstarter cards are just extremely overvalued, or perhaps a mix of both!
Guessing lots of new money has arrived since KS closed.
Yeah it appears so! I've heard some rumours of multiple new big players joining us soon with tens of thousands worth of crypto ready to dump into Steem Monsters.
I also have a personal friend who's joining soon and I wouldn't be surprised if he threw a few grand into Steem Monsters since he is a massive MTG fan with over $20k worth of MTG cards.
We're going to drown in newcomers once guys who dropped $1000 2 months ago start winning that back in a single tournament.
Anyone here in 2018 is going to be very glad they were.
