Authentic & Cheap Turkish Döner
Have you heard of Turkish Döner before? They have spread everywhere, even to the car away corner of New Zealand. What a better way to try this other than in Turkey itself! Welcome to Nokta Döner.
Travel through Turkey
The restaurant setting was simple and practical. The walls are decorated with photos of iconic places in Turkey. The table and chair had prints of famous Turkey cities and touristic icons. The seatings were all upstairs and there's plenty of walls to provide a private room feeling between each table.

What about the taste?
The chicken döner we had was toasted and it was delicious. The meat tasted fresh and well seasoned. They included a nice tomato soupy sauce which made my fingers wet but I licked it afterward!
Service was a bit slow (10 minutes), but they were busy serving all the take out orders. There's a reason why they're popular.
Price: 6 Liras for Döner and Ayran.
That is roughly under $1 US!

Never heard of this Turkish Doner. But certainly looks good. Hope someday will get the chance to savour this meal.
