Vampires on the blockchain

We have become vampires, sucking each other’s Time, draining each other of life.

Time has revealed humanity’s true nature: very few are above taking the Time of another if they have the opportunity and are desperate for time themselves. After all, time is life.

And even if we're not physically draining another’s Time, we are trading it out of each other. We have become cannibals for Time and yet, there are still a few who fight their basic nature to give Time to others. So it would be more accurate to say, Time has revealed both the worst and the best of humanity.

Who can pretend they are altruistic or humanistic when they are taking Time from another - literally sucking their lifeblood. Time has become the scourge of humanity, the destroyer of civilization. This is why Time must be eliminated; why we must destroyed Time before it is created.

What other species is there like humanity, who leaches the lifeblood from each other? Who is there, but humanity, who sucks Time from each other? This crypto currency, called Time, had made us into the basest of all animals. We know what it is to live, we know what it is to have Time, and yet, we insist on taking it from each other. There is no hiding from the base nature of humanity, when your currency is linked directly to the minutes and seconds of another's life.

Time has rendered us savages, Time has destroyed civilization, Time has taken all that was good about society and turned it to trash. Humanity's greatest technical achievements have produced this one, evil construct: Time.

Time must die.

There is an alternative; there is another system, that can preserve civilization, that can make humanity great again: Steem.

I have lived the best part of my life fighting Time, and I have come to the inescapable conclusion that Time cannot be defeated here in the twenty-second century. If we are to win this war against Time, we must destroy it in the past, before it is even created. To save the future, Steem must become a worthy alternative.

When the crypto crash strikes and all other currencies become worthless, Steem must be the only logical alternative. Only Steem can ensure civilization progresses, and humanity continues to flourish.

For this to happen, Steem must be fully established, and robust enough to survive the crash, it must be the obvious solution, so secure and stable that Time will be an abomination.

Steem must be built up in your century, Steem must be made solid by you. The only way, is to add value - to create intelligent, useful information, the world will value in the long term. If Steemit is trashy, Time will win; if Steemit is robust, Time will die and civilization will survive.
