I Have A PTB Pneumonia?

Today this morning I was greeted by a seemingly bad news from my renal nurses and telling me that I have to be seen by the pulmonary doctor because my chest x-ray shows an impression that I have a Tuberculosis pneumonia or something like that.

I looked it up of course in the internet and I have learned that the symptoms includes couching.

Signs and symptoms of Pulmonary Tuberculosis and Pneumonia
TuberculosisPneumonia
Tiredness that gets worse as the day goes oncough
WeightlossIncresed Heart Rate
Loss Of AppetiteRapid Breathing

Let's see for pneumonia symptoms I do not have those. I don't have a cough and I cannot remember when was my last cough happened. I do not have an increased heart rate and I do not breathe fast.

I know what Pneumonia was because i had it before, it includes dry persistent cough and most especially fever. It can be cured effectively in days via antibiotics.

Now as for tuberculosis I have a weightloss indeed. Infect I am really just skin and bones now for a reason unknown to me. I was like this a long time ago and I couldn't possibly gain weight no matter how I tried.

Also in the course of my being a dialysis patient my strength had diminished little by little as years go by until I can't even press a nail cutter that easily, the is how weak I am. In short I am very weak and frail as of currently.

Then I do not believe that I have a loss of appetite due to Tuberculosis but due to my taking of my parathyroid medicines which really causes me nausea and appetiteloss. It is because before my therapy on that drug my appetite had been excellent.

The chest x-ray result for me is not evidence enough for any lung disease that I have. Certainly there should be more tests for that. Again it is another financial burden for me if I would get tested again.

I am suspecting that my chest x-ray impression is a result of years that my lungs had suffered of having fluids in them because my real dry weight was a problem back then.

Anyway, be as it may if I have TB or pneumonia or whatever I will have to take a medicine. This could be painfully expensive for me but I have to take medicines again.

The renal nurse told me that I have to see that pulmonary doctor this afternoon so that I can be properly diagnosed. I guess that maybe that doctor wants to just earn money from me because of her reason of my chest x-ray results, I could never take that suspicion too from my mind.

This is another setback for my dialysis. maybe my nurses would put me in the third batch of patients that have coughs and I hate that if that will be the case, I am just worried now.
