We Got Back Home From My Session Without Much Fuss But There Is A Fuss

My dialysis session is different today because I am dealing with different kind of nurses with two of them are former head nurses and one is taking my BP reading almost every hour.

The problem for me is that I do not want my blood pressure to be read every hour because if they would find out that my BP is low they will either terminate my session or slow the blood pump and adjust the "Sodium" up so that it will raise my blood pressure but will make me thirsty and then cut the water that should be taken out from my system or all of that.

Those are the things that I do not want to happen but even though it is the right thing to do for them of course it is causing me some aberration on my treatment quality.

On the schedule that I had a few weeks ago the nurse that got the job in taking the BP reading just takes it before my hook-up and then after one and a half hours and sometimes after the treatment which is why I want that set of nurses to treat me even though it is just a sign that they do not care much if I am hypotensive or not I just like that system of theirs simply because I wanted to complete my dialysis session.

This evening I said to myself that I would refuse to get taken a reading of my BP about thirty minutes before the appointed termination time and that is what I did but the two head nurses just doesn't want to take heed because they said that they are doing some technique for my blood pressure not to crash and that they are observing it.

What they had done was they had set the dialysis machine to take fluids from my body in a diminishing manner until the treatment ends unlike the usual of a constant drawing of water in equal amounts with regards to the four hour dialysis time.

It kind of worked but little that they knew that I took about 700 mg of Caffeine so that it can support my blood pressure. So with this amount of Caffeine that I am taking again I will just maintain it until I got back to my "normal" schedule with the other set of renal nurses.

So there is a bit of discussion about my session today because I just simply want to be left alone but my renal nurses are doing a thing of their own for me regarding a technique which is called a "sequential" like at this instance they drew most of the water from my body from the beginning of my session and lesser toward the end but with the same amount that had to be taken out in total.

I survived the dialysis nonetheless because why wouldn't I as I had taken a bit of a caffeine dose which I actually am regretting if not for my problematic blood pressure. I just thank God for this day once again, glory be to God.
