The view image button has been removed by the search engine from Google images.

Its got a bit harder to grabbing a picture from Google image search. That's because last night the search engine giant revealed that it has remove the View image button from Google image search.

First,users search image,pick a result and view and like by its own.Now you shall have go to the site of image to view the assets. So for creatives is this good news? or is it a backward move,like some suggest.

Its great news according to Gety image. The photo library has complained that Google image's search made it easy to search images and take these images without any licence and appropriate copyrights.

It is a good news for publishers that now they can earn extra revenue by adding ads which revenue based on the extra click-through.
The announcement is made via* twitter with new image search buttons-save,share and visit.

Today we're launching some changes on Google Images to help connect users and useful websites. This will include removing the View Image button. The Visit button remains, so users can see images in the context of the webpages they're on.

many people suggest that unique benefits of using google image's search are now have been removed.

So what do you think?

Is it a backwards move that does little to protect creative copyright? OR is this a step forward in the war against image theft?
