Make the shift II
Let's talk innovations; some persons are able to build stuff, create things, write books, make music, designs etc! And then? Many other persons will never be anything more than that person who retweets and shares other people's stuff. The sad thing is it's not like they cannot actually create something good that people will love. They just aren't trying or have convinced themselves that they can't and it won't work.
Everyday there's someone engaging in self handicaps, convincing themselves that they aren't smart enough, exciting enough funny enough or generally good enough to say anything on social media or share anything that people will like. It's one thing to fear negative feedback or fear not getting any at all. That's normal and we all experience that when we start out, even if most won't admit it, and it's another thing to conclude you're not "it".
People are wasting so much time, potential and data pushing other people's stuff not because that is them but because they don't think they can do anything right. That's why they say the grave is the richest place because many ideas, songs, writings, music and so much else is buried there with people who did nothing to bring it all out.
Here's some advice.
Stop looking down on yourself. You're worth more than you think and no, you're not useless, dumb or a waste of space.
Find people who are making things happen and stick around them. Follow them and ask questions. Learn and you'll start to get more clarity and confidence for yourself.
Stick around people who are your peers and encourage your growth, development and expression.
If you already have an idea but aren't sure about it or how to make it happen, see a professional or if you can't afford one, get a mentor who might help with it. Don't sit down waiting for the next big thing when you could actually BE the next big thing.
