Early mintages (2004-2008) were only 5,000, each, rare. Popularity ran their mintage to as high 170,000 in 2011. My guess is that since 2004, only a total of, one or two million have been minted into existence. The US Mint mints Silver Eagles by the millions in less than a month. These Elephants are out there, but, good luck in finding them, in the Local Coin Shop. The Bavarian Mint, Germany, released the 2020, a few months ago. They release a new Elephant design each year. They upgraded from 0.999 Fine Silver to 0.9999 Fine Silver, in 2016. Keep on stacking.
