What is falling from the grace of GOD?
On many occasions we have heard him say "Brother Jacinto sinned and fell from the grace of God", or "Jaime fornicated with his girlfriend Juana, both fell from the holy grace of God".
Perhaps we have been protagonists of some slip and that is why "We have fallen from the grace of GOD".
*"Fall from the grace of God" we associate when someone makes some mistake or sin. *
Stand firm, then, in the freedom with which Christ made us free, and do not be subject to the yoke of slavery again.
Behold, I tell you Paul that if you are circumcised, Christ will avail you nothing.
And again I testify to every man who is circumcised, who is bound to keep the whole law.
You have become separated from Christ, those who justify you by law; of grace you have fallen.
Galatians 5: 1-4
In V.1 Paul says: "Stand firm, therefore, in the liberty with which Christ made us free, and do not be subject to the yoke of slavery again."
He speaks of this since among the brothers of Galatia the "Judaizers" had been introduced, those who imposed the law to earn something, forced those who by FAITH had received Christ to be circumcised.
In V.4 we see clearly: "You have become separated from Christ, those who by law justify yourselves, you have fallen from grace."
When we speak "Fall from grace" we are talking about belittling grace, that gift of GOD that has been free. It is when we seek to add something more to the ENOUGH Grace of God.
It's when we want to Justify ourselves by doing something in return.
Because by grace you are saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God;
Ephesians 2: 8
As Saul: The king usurped the place of the Priest, Then He did not obey the word and forgave the best of the sheep (Believing that it would be better and offer sacrifice to Jehovah) and finally, as the word has not been enough consulted with The fortune teller. This marked his ruin.
When we start to get out of the word (I'm not talking about committing sin and all that), and try to justify ourselves by the law, or even use "We must obey to receive blessing" we have to be vigilant because this leads to next steps until we reach to act independent of the word of Grace.
there is when we fall from the Grace of God. Another example is Pedro's:
But when I saw that they were not right according to the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter before all: If you, being a Jew, live as the Gentiles and not as a Jew, why do you compel the Gentiles to Judaize?
We, Jews of birth, and not sinners among the Gentiles,
Knowing that man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, we have also believed in Jesus Christ, to be justified by the faith of Christ and not by the works of the law, because of works of the law no one will be justified.
Galatians 2: 14-16
All this has a solution: "Go back to the word" and the Holy Spirit convinces us and guides us in all light and truth of the word.
The grace of God is so simple and very complicated

Amen! God keep blessing you! I follow you!
Yea,falling from grace is different to what most people think, they think to fall from grace is to sin but that's not true,to fall from grace like you said is to go back to put yourself under the burden of the law which has been done away in christ.
Galatians 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
EXACT! Glory to God for it!
we can fall from the grace of God through sin. The bible says in 1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
As human we may sin against God one way or another but the most important thing is that we confess our sin unto the Lord and bounce back stronger.
Proverbs 24:16 says: For a righteous man may fall seven times And rise again, But the wicked are overthrow by calamity.
"Blessings" brother @cyclope for this wonderful message.
Thanks for your contribution.
When we sin, we simply sin.
What I do not know is how "Falling from Grace" has nothing to do with sin in terms of doing something bad, for example.
I speak of falling from grace when we impose the law, we seek to add to the sacrifice of Christ.
TODAY, sin is NOT the problem of a child of God. That has already been resolved on the Cross, Jesus overcame sin "It is finished ...".
Today We have to GROW! and DO NOT waste time looking for ways to NOT SIN. I still live in a body "whose tendency is to SIN".
I mentioned this topic in many previous publications.
God Follow you Blessing and we continue to grow in the Grace of God!
"WHAT IS THE GRACE OF GOD" ... So grace is favor, "unmerited favor." Salvation by Grace. Grace is, therefore, God's unmerited favor - His goodness toward those who have no claim on, nor reason to expect, divine favor. The principal manifestation of God's grace has been in the form of a gift.
Amen!!! Hallelujah!!
