See the winner of the last week´s Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans @aleksandra.mart with the following entry:

Fisherman catches fish. The photo was taken in Vietnam. I was there in December for a week. Amazing country, I will definitely come there for a longer period.

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

Please see the winners of the previous contests of the week and give them your support if you like their images to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for them by upvoting their winner announcement posts below:

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #86 - winner announcement!

@travelshots Asian Sunday entry:

"Thu Thiem Bridge" offers probably the best view of the city center of Saigon with the Saigon River in the foreground. Here you can admire beautiful sunsets as the sun disappears just behind the skyline. After dark the skyscrapers are reflected in the water, which can be used for impressive long exposures.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Australian Monday week #86 – winner announcement!

@fotogruppemunich Australian Monday entry:

Since we spent a long time near Sydney, it was also possible for me to photograph the Opera House at night. There was no extra light show on this evening unfortunately. Nevertheless it was an experience for me to be at this place in the night.

Sign at the entrance to the Yum Balam Nature Reserve on the Mexican island of Holbox. The island´s land area occupies some 56 sq km (22 sq mi) a vast majority of which is still uninhabited, covered with pristine nature consisting of lush tropical vegetation, spotless white powdery beaches and incredibly clear and warm turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea.

Ceuta is a Spanish autonomous city on the north coast of Africa. Together with another Spanish enclave Melilla on the northern shores of Morocco's Mediterranean coast, they form the EU's only land borders with Africa. The sea water here is crystal clear and the beach is quiet with only a few sunbathers.

Other photo of my series of sunsets and dusks in coast of Antofagasta. In this city of northern Chile, there are nice sunsets, however the display of colors in the sky is not very spectacular as in other places. But you usually see interesting color gradients between the sky and the sea. In the upper right corner you can spot the moon.

Venice Beach has almost 3 miles of coastline with 238 acres of beach. Venice Beach is one of the most interesting and popular sights in Los Angeles. Venice hosts artists, palm readers, bikini-clad roller skaters, belly dancers, vendors, street performers and of course bodybuilders.

The Atlantic Ocean. At most north eastern tip of spain, right next to the french border, there is a tini tiny place that seems untouched, rough and just about perfect to watch sunsets. Cliffs, slippery rocks and some greens add up to this pretty piece of nature. Watch your step going down there. You will fall. DSC_0827.JPG

Hi steemers,
For this photo we go to the chilly St Kilda in Australia's entertaining city Melbourne. Literally metres away from where I took the picture were hundreds of boisterous penguins. It was hard to choose what to look at :-)

Last bit of land before the open waters. On the Northern Ireland coast, the storm is forming in a far distance and will soon hit the land. I stand on top of a cliff looking at these clouds building up thinking how quickly can the weather change.

Location: Northern Ireland.

Iceland offers up jaw-droppingly stunning landscapes when viewed from above. The contrast between the black lava flow land and shallow beautiful blue seas is breathtaking. Volcanic islands break away from the norm.

Rough stormy sea with long waves is perfect chance try to use a bit of longer exposure to freeze the wave. But is could be quite dangerous for equipment, since those waves are quite unpredictable and any time can come some bigger one.. suddenly
Here is such a winter stormy sunset at the coast of Baltic Sea. A lot of dynamics and action here

Enjoy it!

PS. Don't forget to wear right shoes... :D

Photo of a jellyfish, I don't know exactly what kind it is. The photo is taken on my journey through Portugal. I admit that it is not taken in the wild, but in the Lisbon Oceanarium.
