No exactly. Real reason: This platform is a product and baby of the crypto currency movement....heavily male dominated. It was the original Bitshares/Graphene crypto organizations that build the structures and originated the technology. Thus many of the original (read power) players here males who having been heavily invested in time, money and effort in the crypto movement for years. These are men who are insightful enough to know that the platform must have a diversity of "whales" ......racial, sexual, cultural, and otherwise, in order for this platform to be successful. What you are observing is the bootstrapping of that diversity. I venture to guess that over a short time, the top posts will become very much more a mixed bag.
