IntroduceYourself

Hey Steemit, what's good? ^^That's me!^^ I'm a Halfrican-Amerinative. That's half African American (paternal side) and half Native American (maternal side), more specifically Oglála Lakȟóta. But if it comes down to any type of race discussion I'm human, just like you. We are One.

So here's a little about me and a taste of what I've experienced over the 31 years I've spent on this rock we call Earth. I've been a LED/Fire-hooper for over 9 years. I use to be a performing artist, traveling from festival to festival, and hitting up any bar-show or music venue I could get into along the way. I was always down to hoop wherever and whenever I was able to.

I lived for the scene and everything that came with it. So many memories, some so good they are irreplaceable but there were some really really bad times too. I'll have to expand more on that subject in later posts. Anyways, that's how I spent the better part of my 20's. I'm a wanderer by nature, so that lifestyle made sense to me at the time.

I've lived up and down the east-coast, from Florida to Boston. I recently moved back to Colorado a few months ago. I miss the beaches of NC but I love the mountains here in CO. I was looking for a fresh start and that's exactly what I got. I feel so at home here and I know this is what I needed at this point in my life. Right now I live in the Denver area but one of my main goals is to have a small cabin that's tucked away anywhere in these mountains. Hopefully I find my twin flame before then so I'll have enjoyable company in my peaceful little niche. It'll happen, I have faith.

I'm a firm believer in natural remedies. At times my kitchen looks more like a lab, which makes me smile and laugh a little. I make my own toothpaste, deodorant as well as teas, tonics, and tinctures. I spend a lot of time looking into studies that show proven health benefits and possible side effects before trying anything. I'll probably be doing some posts on different natural remedy recipes in the future. I'm not advising anyone on anything EVER, just sharing information to consider.

I enjoy cooking, crocheting, painting, and designing. Pretty much anything that allows me to express myself through some form of art, I'm down for. One of my favorite pastimes is to create with my 11 y/o son. We always choose a different medium, we never have a plan when we start but the result never disappoints. I believe it's important for us humans to excersize our ability to create and use our imagination, it's our natural gift, we should use it. We really are beautiful creatures, if only we would be allowed to reach our full potential.

I'm a college drop out which I use to feel bad about, however, seeing proof that most of the education received in our school systems today is basically BS, I don't feel so bad about that anymore. The way I see it I'm learning something new everyday, usually multiple things. My favorite way to pass the time: being at home with a warm cup of tea and doing some reading. I'll look into just about any topic that captures my interest. I crave the truth, however there is only one way to get it honestly and that is to gather as much information as possible about any one topic, take it all into consideration, cancel out the BS and only then can I form my own conclusion. I wish more people took interest in seeking information for themselves, it's the only way to be well informed. It's kind of our duty to the next generations: to learn and pass on as much honest information as possible.

So that's why I'm here, the best way for me to retain all the information I find interesting is to blog about it. Steemit seems like the perfect platform for me get started. As always, it's about to get interesting...

**I keep up with the political circus we call our government but I align with NO specific side. Our politicians have forgotten their place in our society as Public Servants and the shadow government has forgot what it means to be human. I trust none of them but I stay informed on the 3 ringed events presented to us and more importantly the events they don't want us to know about. That's where we find the truth.

***This is in no way a conclusive representation of who I am or everything I've experienced. There's always more to know, right? Like I said, it's about to get interesting...
