In my country, it is common to observe wall paintings depicted in Jataka Kata. But Kelaniya Temple is an exception to this. There, we can see murals representing the birth, rise and progress of Buddhism in Sri Lanka Source It is common that Buddhists visit these temples on full moon day (the poya day) each month; apart from that, they can visit any day. But when it comes to the historical temples on poya days, these spaces are so crowded. As usual with the year reaching an end, we also decided to go there avoiding a poya day.

So we made all traditional offerings to Lord Buddha and had a quite calming time under the Bo tree. This is what I feel most about these temples. It is said that Bo tree has healing effects on humans Source. Apart from these things, I love some evening scenics I had before here. I had the intention of capturing some of them. But sadly, my hopes were not fulfilled. Even though I was able to get some stills here. So I am going to share them with you. Enjoy (The last one is something I didn't expect to see but you know we should always expect the unexpected.)

Seeing a Tesla in Sri Lanka is rare. I had this feast on this unforgettable trip; therefore, I am so happy.
