INTRODUCTION

Hello my fellow steemians, I am @dajinz and I am so excited to be here,Is a great privilege to be among great minds in this great community.I have just completed my achievement 1 and since then I have been learning alot from this community and hopefully as am starting my achievement 2 I hope to keep learning from this great community.

Q1. HAVE YOU SAVE ALL YOUR STEEMIT PASSWORD?

Yes I have successfully obtained and save my steemit password in form of pdf in my phone,and also send it to my email were only me can have access to it and it is highly secure there.

Q2. FUNCTIONS AND RESTRICTIONS OF THE KEYS?

the keys we have are:

1. Posting key

2. Activation key

3. Owner key

4. Memo Key

5. Master password

6. Posting Key
   This key that allows you to post, comment on others post, edit your post when you make mistakes, vote on other people's post, resteem, and follow other steemians or mute other accounts is called the posting key. Most of the users should enter Steemit daily with their posting codes.The restrictions of these keys include, Your publishing password is more likely to be more vulnerable as you use it more, so there is limited use of a posting key, in order to limit the damage that a compromised key can cause.therefore the posting key is limited in use.

7. Activation Key
   This activation key is use to prevent software piracy by ensuring users who have purchased a program can use it.This key is use for SBD conversions,transfer tokens,power STEEM up and down, vote for witnesses published a witness price feed,create a new user, update details and profile photo including cover photo.The activation key is a very unique and sensitive key.

8. Owner Key
   This is one of the special and important key for steemians and this key is only used when necessary . it is use to reset owner active,to recover lost account and also decline voting right. It is the most powerful of all and can change any other password on your account, including the owner. Ideally, you should keep it offline and only use it when your account is compromised or hacked .

9. Memo key
   This key is used to send encrypt messages and decrypt massage when transferring funds. when using the memeo key to encrypt a memo, use the hash (#) before placing it.

10. Master Key
    The master key can be used to generate new passwords and generate new pdf documents. Never share your master password with anyone because this password is the main password that really needs to be protected to avoid steem account theft.

Q3. HOW I PLAN TO KEEP MY MASTER PASSWORD SAFE?

My master password is the most important password,I can never share it with anyone no matter the circumstances.I have kept it save in form of pdf document and also save it in my personal dairy that I don't share with anyone.i also set my email and save it there were only me can read it incase I lose it.

Q4. HOW TO TRANSFER STEEM TOKENS TO ANOTHER STEEM USER?

Yes I do, when I go through the highly educative post by @kiwiscanfly,I find it easy to transfer Steem tokens to other steem users, because it is easy to learn from that , I also did that practically by transfering my own steem to my savings account and really works , you can also visit https://steemitwallet.com/ and to make it easy and practical.

Below are some screenshots

At your steem section, click on the drop down box to see transfer, click on transfer then input the user name you want to transfer your token to then in the second box just below the box containing your username. The memo could be any text, though leaving it blank won't affect your transfer.

Q5. DO YOU KNOW HOW TO POWER UP YOUR STEEM?

Yes, I know how to power up my steem and i have powered up my Steem practically.To power up your Steem,it can be done by logging into your wallet just as it is was done above. But this time you will click on the power up instead aside transfer and others options, Hence you can now put in any amount you want and then power it up. Your SP can also be converted to Steem within 4 weeks as shown in @kiwiscanfly's post.

CONCLUSION

I will like to advise my fellow steemians that it is very advisable that every new member of this great platform should know how to secure and protect their keys and also know all the functions and all the features on their wallet!
