Medium vs Steemit - Why do people still use medium?
I am a bit surprised that companies even like the kin foundation still use medium mostly.
The answer is actually quiet simple:
Medium is much better found in google then steemit articles.
I see a lot of medium articles listed in the Top 10 results of Google
whereas i see that hardly happening to steemit.
I think one of the reasons is because companies or people are not linking back enough to steemit articles & profiles from twitter, reddit, their blogs. So with that i want to encourage you to link your profiles and articles on steemit from everywhere :-)
Steemit is more than a blogging site its a crypto.I prefer Steemit. To make money on Medium you need to be behind the paywall and I have an aversion to paywalls.

You can still make money on Medium without getting yourself inside the paywall. Find a sponsor. Pitch their product /startup in your Medium articles. Money!
Medium is favored by Google and it's professional-looking because of its sophisticated but clean user interface.
I make more money on Medium than on Steemit. It can change over time, who knows. Maybe not. With the EOS main net about to launch, more and more DApps will be building on EOS than on Steem. There is a great chance that some of the mainstream social media will be moving to EOS. Fingers crossed. By that time, Steemit will be dead!
