Greetings dear steemians, these are some possible changes for steemit that might come in 2018

Since I’ve been in Steemit, I’ve noticed some features that could be of great use, especially when it comes to organizing our blog. This post is the first of many I’ll make with these features I long for and hope will come to any developer who can carry them out.

But the most important from these posts are your comments, full of ideas and great input that I’m sure you have, since with each interaction, new improvement opportunities occur.

Improving the look of our blog

In this issue I show how the interface of our blogs could look like, in order to simplify searching for posts.

The difficult part about searching for a specific post sprang at me once I wrote complete guide of steemit in Spanish and had to get certain posts that had been published a few months back. The fact that the platform only shows posts in the order they are published is quite constraining.

Next up I show four different ways of visualizing the posts in our blog

Time

It’s the current one we have. Posts are organized by showing the newest first.

Views

Here we could sort our posts by the number of views they have. They’ll be shown sorted by the ones with most views first. This improvement comes as a great help, since currently, views are only shown once the post is open.

Comments

Posts will be sorted based on the comments they’ve received.

Rewards

The posts will be shown ordered by the ones that have earned, or are earning, the most rewards.

All of this could even allow us to know our statistics or analytics in order to improve our promotion or posting strategies. Also, when checking other accounts, we could gain quite valuable information that could help us grow on Steemit.

This is how it would work in practice.
