SO THEY FORGOT THE REAL REASON TO SIGH
I am perched on your waters on this day,
One day he gave up and it was getting dark,
Sighing that stale air
And tempting the shadows to judge me then.
Splashing my skin were the waves,
Furtive attempt to get attention,
Recurring action that cradled my thought,
Lullaby of the whisper of the sea one more night.
Thus the torpor of an empty mind was filling my presence,
The boat marking the dance that does not stop,
Playing to be the unstoppable feat,
That feat that reminds us that the world does not stop by nature.
Sighs that drew the air of my sadness,
Sighs that today tied up hopes so as not to lose them,
Sighs that forgot the real reason to sigh,
Sighs that today expire some regret.
Because if in a sigh we lost ourselves, we should find inside ourselves...
