SteemChurch: Where are the hands of God?
They are the hands of God that caress us in moments of pain, comfort us. It is our Father who caresses us! He loves us so much. And also in these caresses, so many times, there is forgiveness. Many tell me and they write me that I am an Angel, that the words of the Lord are ballads for their bones, that they encourage them in the most difficult moment, and I always answer: It's not me, it's God, I'm just an instrument here in the land to carry your message. Reflecting on this, I began to meditate: Where are the hands of God?
Where the Hands of God Are
When I observe the field without plowing, when the farm implements are forgotten, when the earth is broken and abandoned. When I look at so many abandoned children, so many brothers who cry, so many wars. When I look at the tears, the low esteem, the sadness, the hatreds, the nonconformity.
When I observe the injustice, the corruption, the one that exploits the weak. When I see the arrogant and pedantic, get rich
ignorant and of the poor, of the worker and the peasant lacking the resources to defend their rights, I ask myself:
Where are the hands of God?
When I look at that forgotten old woman, when her look is nostalgic and she babbles even words of love for the son that
abandonment. When I look at that young man, once strong and determined, now embrutecido by drugs and alcohol. When I see hesitantly what was once a brilliant intelligence and now in rags, without direction, without destiny; I wonder:
Where are the hands of God?
When that girl who should dream in fantasies, I see her dragging the existence and in her face the boredom of
live, and looking to survive she paints her mouth and girds her dress and goes out to sell her body; I wonder:
Where are the hands of God?
When that little one at three o'clock in the morning he offers me his newspaper or his miserable box of unsold sweets. When I see him sleeping at the door of a hallway or under some bridge shivering with cold, with a few newspapers that cover a very small body.
When his gaze demands a caress, when I see him hopelessly wander with the only company of a stray dog.
And I confront him and ask him: Where are your hands, Lord? To fight for justice, to give a caress, a consolation to the abandoned, rescue the youth from drugs, give love and tenderness to the forgotten. .
After a long silence, I heard his voice that claimed me: You have not realized that YOU are my hands ?. Dare to use them for what they were made to give love and reach the stars !. .
And then I understood that the hands of God are YOU and ME. We are the ones who have the will, the knowledge and the courage to fight for a more human and more just world, those whose ideals are higher than they can not go to the call of destiny, those who defy pain, criticism, blasphemy, they challenge themselves to be the hands of God. .
Lord, now I realize that my hands are unfilled, that they have not given what they should give. I apologize for the love you gave me and I have not known how to share. I know that I must use them to love and conquer the greatness of creation. The world needs those hands full of ideals and stars, whose great work is contributing day by day to forge a civilization. Some hands that look for superior values, that generously share what God has given us and may eventually arrive empty to heaven because they delivered all the love for which they were created ...

And then God will surely say: Yours are mine.
Bless my hands, Lord!
Loveless?
Have you worked in life without showing love to the needy?
"If I give everything I possess to the poor, and if I give my body to the flames to consume it, but I have no love, I gain nothing by it" 1 Corinthians 13.3
I often write about helping the poor. I do not think we can consider ourselves to be loving people or Christians if we do not take care of the poor and needy. Caring for them has to be a responsibility that we take seriously.
This verse is a great reminder on this subject. Giving our possessions and lives to the poor and needy always benefits us. But it only benefits us if we give with love. You may feel that you are doing "good" by giving your abundance. It's good, up to a point. But the question is, "Good for what? And "Good for whom?"
A Glance In Life
Take a look at your life. Do you help others? Do you give yourself for a cause? Do you do it simply because you must? Is there love in your heart? Do you care about those around you? Do you even notice those who are in front of you? Notes to the cashier at the supermarket? Notes to the person in the office next to yours? You see and attend to others during the day or they are simply on your way, on your way to doing something "good". If you want your life and your actions to be of benefit to you and others, make sure you have your attention.
Go slowly I go. Look at the people in the eyes. Note their joys and sorrows. Help them. Amales Just do not do "good". Giving with love will be of benefit to all, even to you.
God is love. Without God there is no love. Then the question could be extended a little more. Do you have God in your life? If not, all your work and effort may help others, but it will not benefit you. It will leave you as empty and inquisitive as you were before. He waits for you.
helping others helps to get help of God ..
Wao! This is so deep.
We are love by God to love others.
God has placed us in certain positions to be a solution to some people's problems but most a times we fall victim of not playing our own part despite that God is always committed in playing His part and He's counting on us
Indeed, we are God's instruments...

The hands of God are around us, when we face hard situations we really should not fear because steadfast faith in God and continuously reading his word will cause the Lord to lift us above every obstacle
Certainly we question God before suffering without noticing that we are the hands of Him to relieve the heavy burdens of many people, good message @darlenys, I want to be the hands of God, blessings
Awesome post on a paramount subject @darlenys01.
Love can be said, but when acted makes more meaning and makes one appreciate it more clearly and practically in a beautiful way.
So sad that many of us, say that we love but do things that do not project love in our sphere. God truly is love and expects us extend love to others, particularly those that are needy and poor (just as you've taught us in this carefully written post of yours)
We need to show love, not because we expect something in return but because love has become a crucial part of our nature; and because, basically we have undeservedly tasted on if it and therefore, need to live it out to others.

Kind regards.
He is always by your side waiting for you, you are a precious jewel in his hands, he is the most interested in reaching you and can hug you, caress you and cuddle like the mother caressing your newborn baby, Jesus loves you so much, that I do not spare your life to deliver it for you, Just open your heart and let it come in and he becomes one in you as he is one with the Father John 17:21
HE LOVES YOU AND LOVES YOU TODAY TOMORROW AND ALWAYS.
Challenging article. I always say, "We are blessed to bless others"
