Friendly Fido

Are you an animal person who loves their pets? Well this beautiful story will surely brighten your heart and put a great big smile on your face. Nearly 12 years ago married couple Debbie and Larry LaVallee was visited by a man who claimed he found their dog. They didn’t know the puppy but couldn’t resist the stray dog, so they decided to take the poor fella in. They called the bundle of fur Bruno.

That was over 12 years ago and almost every day for those 12 years Bruno would complete a four mile commute to wonder into the lives of the people of Longville.  He starts at the back door of the grocery store where his friend at the deli leaves a little meaty treat.   He passes city hall, to frosties ice cream, pass the library, and couple of real estate offices.

He's now known as the town dog and everyone knows him.

He's our buddy and we try to watch out for him as best we can

Now that ol’ Bruno is 12, its more difficult for him to make the trip. But he's made such a positive impact on the town they've already made beautiful carving of the curious canine, and he’s now honored forever.
