TRUTH OR DARE #228 - Do you Celebrate the winter Solstice?
Hi Everyone welcome to TRUTH OR DARE. As the seasons change were now moving into the time of year in the northern hemisphere where the winter begins and the days start to be longer we have more daytime light sunshine if we are lucky enough to get sunny days. Now as the days begin to get longer by about 2 minutes a day and for a lot of different cultures a turning point in space and time. Christmas for Christians and many cultures have a celebration of some kind usually relating to light. This year though Christmas will have a full moon maybe something to look forward to.
Once upon a time i guess i was more of a fanatic about this time of year trying to spread a little good will making sure everyone was happy but over time things change people come and go and it might get harder to get out on those cold winter days:) but it does sorta fade away. Most know that the next 60 days or so will be the coldest of the new year but as the days get longer every day we have more to look sunshine to forward to.
During this time of the year. If you ever have a chance to gaze out into the nights sky on a clear but cold night the moon and the stars are an absolute beautiful wonder just so clear and endless but dress well i can stare for hours must be why Stonehenge has become so again become so popular i'll be watching out for that special je ne sais pas quoi funny :) , and also i may have even seen aliens I'm not a 100% sure but that's in another post? :)

Only in my head! I celebrate on the inside the fact that each day will be a little longer now - even though we are hiding out the winter in South America ;p
