Three 1970's Instrumental Songs That I Used to Spite as a Kid
When I was a little boy and then a teenager, my father used to play these three instrumental hit songs from the 1970s. My musical tastes were mostly pop and hard rock (now alternative rock). I hated hearing these instrumentals played; in addition, to that faint "wakka-wakka-wakka" vibe in the background so common with 1970's music.
These three instrumental songs were mostly played as vinyl albums on our old stereo turntable. That trusty turntable was sold years later for a CD player which we still deeply regret to this day.
Anyway, as I grew older and a bit more opened-minded, I kinda grew to like these songs. I mean instrumental songs today (maybe except for some great movie themes) have nothing compared to these 1970's classics. How could an era of bad cars, bad hair, and bad clothes produce good quality music? They have so much positive vibe in them.
I think these hit instrumental songs are best played on your verandah or a yacht with a beautiful lady besides you for company and a glass of cold hard liquor in your hand. Hey...dreaming is free, isnt it?
That wakka wakka sounds were to get the ladies in the mood. lol

The music of yesteryears is superior than majority of hits today and ironically, more relevant. That is just my opinion though.
