Contest Alert: A Picture A Story | Too early at work😊
Hello friends
It is so delighting to have you all on my blog and I somuch appreciate that fact. Thanks to this wonderful community, a very special thanks goes to the organiser of this contest for users to read and learn from other's entry, thank you all.
If you have been following my blog so carefully, you will realise that I am a teacher and so happy to be a teacher. As a teacher, I make sure I dress properly to school, I make sure every dress I wear looks good and covers at least almost all the parts of the body because teaching them book is not enough, they need to learn decency and discipline as well.
Now the story
On this faithful day, I came to work so early, when I arrived work I couldn't see any tecaher except the school Nanny. The usual time I come to school is highest 7:30 am but I don't know what happened to my wrists watch that day, unknown to me, the watch was already tired and the time is not just working correctly.
I normaly wake up by 5-5: 30 am to start prayers and after which dress for work, but I never knew my clock was bad. The clock shows 5:15am so I was thinking I woke so late for work not knowing that the time was around 4 am.
I quickly took my bath, observed my morning prayers in a rush and then pick my bag and rush to work. On reaching the school, only Nanny was in the school and when I asked of what time is it by her time she said its just past 6 am but when I checked my time it was showing 7:45am.
There and then I understood that my time was not going correctly. There was no point going back home so I stayed in the school until every teacher comes to school and I couldn't tell anybody because everyone would laugh at me so I kept it to myself but the funniest part was that, during break period, the Nanny followed me to my class to ask the reason why I came to school so early today, I refused to tell her the truth because it might interpret a different thing to her so, I only told her I decided to come early to work.
Immediately I arrived home from work, I trashed the wrists watch into the waste bin because it has no use. I got a new wall clock immediately so that what happened today shouldn't happen again.

You share an interesting anecdote with us, something similar happened to me regarding the time and departure from the house, which was similar to your moment, you gave a good and knew answer to the babysitter and you were wise not to tell that detail.
