The Doctors Surgery
Here's a slightly different shoot that I found really interesting. I was recently hired by a marketing company who were running a marketing campaign for a GP's surgery here in Dublin.
I was given a specific list of shots to get so I didn't have much creative freedom on this one, however I did find it really interesting getting to shoot a lot of the doctors tools of the trade towards the end of the shoot. They were all general apparatus that you'd associate with a doctor and as somebody who loves macro photography I loved getting up close and seeing the small details with all this stuff.
There was also another part of the shoot where I shot more traditional portraits of the doctors in this practice, but it was mostly photographing the equipment which I found the most interesting. The doctor who works in this practice was lovely too, she explained what everything was and what it would be used for. It was definitely not the kind of shoot I do all the time, but definitely a super interesting and informative one.
Shot on my A7R mk3 with both Sigma Art 50mm f1.4 lens and Sony 24-70 f2.8 GM lens.
