Don't Know How To Buy Steemmonsters Cheap? Here's How!
Many people wish they could buy certain Steemmonster cards if they get a little cheaper. I hear it all the time...
Well, now you can show people the price YOU WANT TO PAY! Its called a "Bid".
The Peakmonster Bid System
The very impressive Peakmonster site (click here) developed by @jarvie and @asgarth has just taken its amazing tool to the next level. Its hard to give this site too many accolades, yet they keep impressing with every iteration. This new BID FEATURE will truly revolutionize the liquidity of Steemmonster cards as they bring in a whole new set of buyers. These buyers will buy for the future value of the cards (vs. purely to play), and it will add much depth to the market.
Plus we can all express our wishes and place buy orders less than the selling prices! ;)
How To Place Your Cheap Buy Price
When you see a card that you want (but you want it cheaper than the lowest seller's price on the market), you will just enter your own "Bid" on the Peakmonster site. To do this is super easy.
Step One - Locate the Card You Like
Step Two - Go To The Bid Section
Step Three - Enter The Price You Want To Pay (*NOTE: after you put a deposit with Peakmonsters to pay for it)
Easy And Simple... And You Save!
That's it. Find the cards on the market that you want to buy cheaper than the going seller's price. Then fund your peakmonster account with a deposit and let your bid be seen by everyone if its the highest!
I have listed many bids of my own in one day and already bought more than 10 cards at what I consider to be cheap prices. I encourage any of you to do the same thing and use this tool to save you money!

ps... I was told a long time ago that I was a simple thinker... I asked if that meant I was simple-minded too :)

Now if someone could come up with a steem price only market. I guess they will let me know what the price would be in steem that I want to bid, I need to take a look at it.
I'm sure they will get to that at some point @bashadow... They have a site in Korean and Chinese, so I'm sure one day they can get it translated into Steem! :D

I have been using it but not sure to what level they have opened it to everyone... You should contact @jarvie on discord and see if he can open it up to you... He's nice and probably would if you are interested!
As for the card's I'd recommend, I'm a little out of whack with the new production numbers they listed for the rewards cards... I think they are too many to be produced so I'm rethinking my strategy. I do like the gold markets when its comparable to the regular cards in price, but today they all moved a lot so that also is a shifting strategy. If you ask me in a week I will have a better idea, I promise! ;)

Great explanation @davemccoy but I don't think it's available for everyone yet.
You have to be a level 3 or higher I think to be able to use it. But it will come in handy when it's open to everyone.

Hey Gillian... I think if you message @jarvie on discord then he might be able to set you up (or tell you when it will be open to you). I think they limited the rollout to get some feedback and didn't want a million questions all at once. My guess is they are not far away from having it open to many and he may be able to make an exception for awesome players like you :)

Sorry @immarojas I'm not sure what you're asking.
Those 1c cards are all gone and only certain people had access to them. I wasn't one of those people. The cards were only available to the big spenders.

I'm good thanks @immarojas. A bit fed up with Steem Monsters at the moment as there are hundreds of bots playing and a lot of the time I have no chance of beating them so I'm not playing much.
Do you have any plans to come back to the UK at all?

Will wait till the price is in steem 😊 until i have enough steem for shopping the cards, I'll keep this in mind and save the "how to" 😄 for now.. I'd better choose to trade the cards. Thanks for the information and I hope you got more valuable cards😉

Awesome tutorial! I gave it a try yesterday and really do like it. It was late and I made a couple rookie mistakes by bidding in more than the listed price. I received a warning which was pretty cool. Will give more cards a bid. :)

And this is why we did a slow rollout because we saw quickly we needed that warning.
