Memories last forever

Today I'm going to share with you all how I spent our last weekend with my family. As our little Oneli is a big sea fan, we have decided to dedicate this weekend to her desire and visit Hikkaduwa. Hikaduwa is a well known destination among the local as well as foreign tourists and located in the down south coastal area. Many tourists like to spend their time here due to the famous crystal clear beaches, coral gardens, hot sun and many more.🌊🌊🌊

So, we packed our luggage one day before the trip and it was a sleepless night for my daughter as well as us as we are heading for a trip after a long time due to the covid condition.

Here comes the day my daughter awaits. We woke up at 6 am and got ready to go on our journey. It was 9am in the morning when we entered the Kadawatha_Galle Expressway after having our breakfast. It tooks us about 1 1/2 hours to reach Hikkaduwa.We went to the pre-booked lodge and rested a bit. All the famous places were booked when we tried to book a place due to the long weekend but we were lucky enough to have a wonderful place to spend our holiday.

After a short nap, we went for a walk along the white sand beach and Oneli did not forget to make a nice sand castle with her Dad. She was so addicted to playing with sand and it was very difficult for us to get her from there. We were late when we got back to the lodge and went directly for washing. The BBQ was ready for our dinner and we were able to enjoy it a lot by having delicious chicken, corn, sausages, etc; 🍠🍗🍤🌽

We woke with a fresh mind and spent some time in the pool before the sun got rough. After enjoying ourselves, we went for our breakfast which was arranged by the hotel and there were many varieties which we all liked and even can't forget that moment.👪👪👪

Our daughter Oneli talked to us about the time that she spent eagerly on our way home.
She really enjoyed this trip and we saw it from her eyes. It was a really fun weekend for us which ended with sweet memories.
