FUNDAMENTALS OF THE CHRISTIAN DANCE
Our praise and adoration must be full of expressions that express our thoughts, attitudes, desires or our state and spirit through words or gestures. Gestures are an action performed by an impulse or feeling.
Manifesting with our bodies praise and adoration is not optional, it is a divine mandate because our bodies were bought for the price of blood to praise and adore for eternity. (1 Cor 6: 19-20)
Dance is much more than a simple set of movements. When the goal is to dance for the Lord it is also a form of worship that reflects an attitude of the heart.

It is the Language or the Language of the Movement: Through the movement we are expressing something, either communicating to God our worship or interpreting things we see in our spirit or words of a new song with movements. Sometimes words limit us to express what we feel.
It is Expression of Joy: Through rhythmic movements of the body with a musical accompaniment we can express the joy of the Lord in us.
It is the result of a life of adoration: It is the corporal expression of what is inside us.
It is a Powerful Language: With dexterity in movements, with creativity and with the help of the Holy Spirit, we communicate a message, interpret a song or prophesy a word from the Lord.
It is Intercession: It is to stand before God representing the congregation and at the same time inviting the congregation to his presence. We are priests before the Lord, ministering to Him; those who for some reason can not worship him, will become infected and will feel the desire to enter his presence in adoration, because if we are in communion with the Lord, His Presence will be reflected in us, in our face and movements, then many people will be ministered and we will be taking the position of priests before the Lord and therefore before the congregation.
It is Spiritual Warfare: God anoints our hands and our feet for battle. It is a way of facing the enemy through movement.
It is an Artistic Expression: God created dance within art. The dance is for God and his children, to make the life and nature of Him flow from us. The source of all art is God. God wants us only for Him.

Neither the Hebrew nor the Greek reach to express what God had for us; However, thanks to the movement of the Holy Spirit through which we pass, we have the privilege of receiving the revelation of the word and not being so limited by language to learn to worship God in the way He wants us to worship Him.
